I am a driven, adaptable, and creative Assistant Producer/Edit Producer. I am passionate about storytelling and possess strong editorial, research, writing, casting, and archive-sourcing skills. I am confident with gaining access, conducting engaging interviews, and handling sensitive subjects. I have experience of setting up complex shoots, in the UK and internationally, working with talent and assisting on location. Outside of Factual TV, I have developed, directed, filmed, and edited short documentaries, and I am keen to develop my shooting and edit skills in a broadcast environment. In 2020, I was selected as a candidate for the first round of Scottish Documentary Institutes’s New Voices scheme - a six-month mentoring and professional development programme for women and non-binary filmmakers who aspire to become documentary directors and/or producers.
