TV Collective Breakthrough Leader 2024/25 | Series Producer & Director

I’m a Series Producer and Director with over 25 years experience, who thrives on the collaborative challenge of crafting new formats and revitalising established series. I’ve contributed to making memorable, visually appealing hits for Channel 5, Smithsonian, BBC Three, and Yesterday.

I pride myself on being a hands-on storyteller. While I love the visual side of filmmaking, my core strength lies in the craft of production: securing access and scripting the narrative. I also relish shaping the final cut in the edit suite.

Contributors & Talent:
I enjoy the human side of production. I have extensive experience working with established talent, but I get equal satisfaction from building trust with inexperienced contributors. Whether they are nervous first-timers or complex characters, I pride myself on creating a supportive environment that allows contributors to give their best performance on camera.

Editorial & Story Craft:
I am hands-on in every stage of the production journey. I enjoy the discipline of scripting and research just as much as the shoot itself. In post-production, I am an experienced Edit Producer, comfortable managing multiple suites and working closely with editors to shape the narrative and ensure the final cut meets the channel’s ambition.

Visual Collaboration:
I love the process of helping to define a show’s identity. Whether working alongside Execs or Commissioners to launch a "Series 1" or collaborating with DoPs to refresh a returning format, I bring a cinematic eye and technical know-how to the team. I’ve played a key role in establishing the look for many of the shows I have contributed to.

International Logistics:
I have extensive experience managing complex shoots in diverse locations—from remote environments to major international cities—across the US, Europe, and Asia. I hold a current US I-Visa (valid until 2028), making me ready for immediate deployment.

Technical Expertise:
I am technically self-sufficient, coming equipped with a comprehensive owner-operator kit (Sony A7Siii/A7iii 4K package, DJI Mavic 3 Pro & Avata 2 FPV Drones, Ronin RS3 Gimbal) and I hold commercial drone licences for the US, UK, and EU.
