Over the years I've made a broad range of factual for all BBC channels, plus C4, C5, Discovery and PBS. I see my role as working co-operatively to realise the concept that's been commissioned. I have often created popular twists on specialist subjects; and am also enthusiastic about other genres and styles. Happy to work anywhere for the right project - flexible about relocation. KEY SKILLS * Collaborating with all sorts of on-screen talent & bringing out the best in contributors * Writing, structure and tone (I was a published author prior to working in tv) * Editing on Avid - I can self-edit entire films, or for part of the edit period * Turning complex subjects into accessible, entertaining television.

Though I'm currently focussed on new directing or edit producing projects, I have previously undertaken short stints of development: in 2023, for Wall to Wall on a BBC project; in 2022, for Dragonfly and IWC on proposals for global streamers; the year before, two talent-led projects for Wingspan, which were successfully commissioned for primetime ITV. Previously for BBC Studios I developed the proposal for the rebooted Rock Family Trees (tx 2022); and at Wall to Wall, I developed and found all the stories for the BBC Two series Catching Britain's Killers: The Crimes that Changed Us, as well as pre-producing for living history series including Back in Time for Dinner and Turn Back Time: The Family.
