I am an experienced Production Manager in documentaries, comedy, drama, childrens and drama documentaries. I have strong project management skills in budgeting and logistics, am good at negotiating deals, managing the production team, understanding post production workflows and delivering on time and on schedule.I have just completed a Music & Arts documentary for BBC4 about the composer Benjamin Britten which was complex with live choral & orchestral performances on a tight budget. Prior to that I worked on a comedy pilot written by Ben Elton for BBC1 & before that on another 90 minute documentary for BBC4 about the composer Frederick Delius. This involved foreign filming as well as live performances and again was ambitious on a small budget.I am also an experienced 1st Assistant Director and am skilled in the complexities of scheduling as well as in managing the set on location.I enjoy diversity and am happy to work as a Production Manager in all genres.
