I'm a Series Producer/Executive Producer with over 20 years experience at the BBC. I also direct and vision mix live broadcasts and can read music and follow an orchestral score. I have directed documentaries, produced magazine and live studio shows and led large teams staging OBs. I really enjoy the buzz of live shows and fast-turnaround projects and am particularly good at writing, fixing edits and spotting and developing talented staff.The arts are my passion and I love working with theatre companies, galleries, authors, actors, musicians and directors to present what they do to the large audiences that television can offer.MY SPECIALITIES: PRODUCING - I produced 13 series of the ArtWorks Scotland documentary strand, two years of The Review Show (BBC Two's weekly live arts review), five seasons of Edinburgh Festival coverage and many other documentaries and OBs. WRITING - I've written countless proposals, voiceovers and scripts for presenters such as Kirsty Wark, Miles Jupp, Stuart Maconie, Mark Lamarr and Mariella Frostrup.
