It was an absolute pleasure to have someone as reliable as Milly work as a Shooting PD on BBC's flagship consumer programme Watchdog on The One Show. Milly excelled in the role, including: delivering editorially complex films with tight turnaround times; coming up with creative treatments and working with presenters to execute them on location; self shooting the pieces - often on prime lenses - in a visually engaging way, as well as working with the programme's lawyers to ensure the pieces were legally sound. I'd jump at the opportunity to work with Milly again as I know she'll deliver to a very high standard.

I had the joy of working with Milly on BBC Morning Live while she progressed from shooting researching, to shooting AP, to Junior PD.

She's overflowing with ideas on how to bring any story to life on-screen, she has a natural ability to cast the strongest contributors and she can spot potential editorial and logistical problems before they're able to develop.

When it comes to script writing, Milly knows how to communicate with viewers, she can take the most complicated story and tell it in a way they will be understand. Whether it's a consumer story, an emotion lead personal story or an informative item that can change the lives of those watching at home.

I've lost count of the number of times editors have gone out of their way to praise the well covered and beautifully shot footage that she's returned from location.

Milly is a Shooting AP on BBC One's Morning Live. She's been an integral part of the team for the past 18 months. During her time on the programme, she's proven herself to be a confident, creative self-shooter, setting up, scripting and shooting her own films every week. She has a good understanding of BBC compliance and editorial policy, completes detailed risk assessments and is brilliant with contributors. Milly has also also stepped in to help out on the development team, she's brimming with ideas and fun treatments for films and is effective at casting.
