I am a science & natural history AP with over 6 years of experience working on high profile shows for international channels & streamers such as BBC, Netflix, National Geographic, Discovery Channel & bilibili. I have experience working at various stages of development and production and for shows with a variety of different budgets & team sizes. I have a BSc in Neuroscience from the the University of Leeds, which included a year abroad in Canada, focussing on Animal Behaviour modules at Dalhousie University. 

I have worked on landmark science shows, cosmology series, factual entertainment programmes and blue-chip natural history series. I see this variety as a positive: with each job I do, I bring alternative ways of thinking and looking at stories and shoots. All my jobs have been connected by my main passion - communicating science via engaging television and creative storytelling. I am especially keen to work on series that blend genres - in particular ones which involve both humans and the natural world.

I am confident at setting up shoots in locations across the globe. I have negotiated access with NASA, ESA, the US Air Force, government departments (NOAA, NZ DoC etc.), scientific projects, and traditional owners. I have plenty of location experience, including on international shoots: from the rainforests of Guyana, to NASA in Houston, my shoots have ranged from producing interviews, science demos and obs doc style sequences, to directing natural history sequences.

I have experience self-shooting a BTS film with scientists on location. I can wrangle data on location, and I have knowledge of DaVinci Resolve.  Read Less
