Edinburgh TV Festival Ones To Watch 2020 Delegate. I am an experienced Executive Producer working across both development and production, with a strong track record in premium documentary, true crime, access-led factual and talent-led programming. I take projects from initial concept through development and commission to final delivery – shaping and writing pitches, securing difficult access, casting key contributors and talent, and building trusted relationships with commissioners. In production, I oversee multiple projects simultaneously, leading teams of varying sizes across complex UK and international shoots, through the edit and post-production. Editorially strong and highly experienced in the edit, I combine creative oversight with the practical demands of running productions – managing budgets and schedules, troubleshooting complex shoots, navigating legal and compliance issues, and maintaining relationships with commissioners, talent and sensitive contributors. Strong characters, extraordinary access and compelling storytelling are at the heart of my work, combining rigorous editorial with an ambitious, high-end visual approach while ensuring productions deliver creatively, financially and on schedule.

Ones To Watch Testimonial: "Kate is incredible. One of the most tenacious and driven producers I have worked with and has an outstanding ability to deliver whatever is asked of her – from tough casting, to impossible locations, and challenging shoot demands. Kate absolutely deserves this recognition – she’s a next generation leader." Colleen Flynn, CCO, Flicker Productions Read Less
