Working on various dramas and factual programs makes me well versed in what it takes to make a cut work. I settle into my role quickly and enjoy working closely with the director and producer(s) anticipating their needs. I'm at home with the multitasking nature of my work and I feel comfortable working with various NLE's including Premiere and AVID. I am always astutely aware of the importance of good communication to ensure things run in a timely manner and that the needs of the programme are met. Regardless of the particulars of the edit, I try to create a positive rapport within my team and between departments. The role can be demanding but ultimately it is a rewarding and fun process.
