With over 10 years of experience creating compelling factual programmes for both UK and US audiences, I’m passionate about telling lesser-known stories and bringing content to life with engaging and exciting scenes I have filmed all over the UK and abroad, and in an array of challenging locations.
I've worked with presenters (including Michael Buerk, Phil Spencer, Rob Bell), experts, and contributors in both talking head interviews and more complex shoots involving metal casting, steam trains and animals. On my first ever job as a PD I filmed a PTC with Michael Buerk that went viral on twitter, with over 3 million views, labelled as 'the most perfectly timed piece to camera' https://inews.co.uk/video/michael-buerck-most-perfectly-timed-piece-to-camera-british-television-193633. Little did viewers know, we got it in one take..!
I am able to condense complex material, from historical events to feats of engineering, and convey them on-screen in a compelling and thought-provoking way. I have an eye for factual detail, and have been praised for my ability to uncover anecdotal gems that bring stories to life. I have experience working remotely, both directing and interviewing over Zoom, as well as remote edit producing. Some of my areas of interest to work in are history, science, engineering, and art.

Having taken time out to have my daughter in 2022, I'm now back in the industry and keen to broaden my eperience in factual television.
