I have now set up my own company Sondes Films and am available as an EP, SP, DP,PD for productions. I will also be offering factual and drama commissions to broadcasters. I specialise in Deaf/Disability issues but also work on general programmes.I was the Head of Content at the BSLBT and commissioned a wide range of programmes including drama, documentary, comedy, factual children's programmes. I was also the Executive Producer on many of these commissions which are regarded as the leading edge in Deaf programming.I worked for over 20 years in the BBC as a producer, director, series producer and senior producer and Editor of the DPU. My work covered different departments and programme genres including - Religious Programmes, Schools and Children's TV, Music and Arts, children's drama, community programmes and documentaries. I was also Editor of The Disability Programmes Unit.
