I am a company director of Gritty Productions for whom Angharad worked for almost 2 years. Angharad worked closely with me on making 7 exceptionally difficult to produce observational documentaries both on shoots and post productions. On the series Cardiff: Living on the Streets which looked at rising homelessness from the POV of homeless people, Angharad’s exceptional people skills enabled us to build strong relationships with contributors which shines through on film. (see clips on the link below). This BBC Wales series got high viewing figures both on broadcast and iplayer, and led to the Welsh Government opening an inquiry into growing homelessness in Cardiff.
Angharad is a fast learner and attentive. With Gritty ltd's support, she went from a media graduate to AP in the space of a year and half. We supported her on a DV talent researcher course, and trained her in sound, recording ensuring she that was at a level to be able to work on a some exceptionally difficult filming where issues around safety, and duty of care working with vulnerable people were crucial. She has since gone on to widen her experience working with the BBC. I thoroughly recommending her and indeed, if the opportunity arose would have no hesitation in employing Angharad again.
