I'm a confident, empathetic and creative self-shooting PD with a background in investigative journalism and experience working across the UK and on challenging foreign assignments. I am skilled at securing outstanding access and filming sensitive documentaries, both observational and presenter-led. 

My ability to build relationships with contributors and approach subjects with sensitivity and tact helps to get access and information above and beyond what is often expected. My journalistic background ensures I have a scrupulous attention to detail which means I succeed in getting to the bottom of any story and excel at developing fresh news lines on a variety of subjects.

Before working in documentary filmmaking, I had a track record of breaking major stories for publications such as The Independent, The Guardian and the Sunday Herald, including front page splashes that have helped shape the news agenda.
