Creative filmmaker with a journalism background. Premium documentaries and current affairs programmes. BAFTA, RTS and Broadcast award winner.

My passion is for telling recent social and political history through documentary, although I delight in crafting films of any genre and format.

I tell exceptional stories with the most engaging contributors, using my journalistic rigour, emotional intelligence, and storytelling flair. I have both the ability to articulate a filmic vision, combined with extensive experience of conducting complex and highly sensitive investigations. My work often involves building trusting relationships with contributors who are both difficult to find and difficult to persuade.

During development, I routinely undertake deep research, source original IP, write treatments and pitch ideas to commissioners.  Once in production, I manage large amounts of journalistic information, shape interviewee contributions, and manage junior team members.  I can self-shoot, conduct interviews, write scripts and run edits as required.

I have an excellent eye for visual storytelling, an ability to craft perspective-based narratives, substantial experience working under pressure to tight deadlines, and a deep understanding of compliance issues. Read Less
