Calm, organised, hard-working & good-humoured factual Series Producer, Director and Edit Producer based in Bristol & open to hybrid working. I deliver top-rating episodes of high-end flagship shows, large volume series, big budget feature-length docs & retrospectives, including innovative genre-blending. 

19 years of experience. Series Produced or Series Directed 8 projects (6 of which first-time series), all-in overseeing 55 hours of output. So far I've Edit produced 30+ hrs of content, directed 35+ talent (including Dr Jane Goodall), PD'd 100+ VTs, and managed teams of 3 to 30 people on location (UK and abroad) plus multiple edits. 6 months Exec Producer experience and 2 years in an SP jobshare.

With a strong editorial instinct, I’m quick to the heart of a story, buying time to support the team in shaping compelling narratives, direct actuality and interviews for impact & energy… to craft characterful, stylish films that hit the spot tonally. An on-point writer, with emotional intelligence, I deliver stirring results across genres: ob-doc adventures with alcoholic comedians; near-death disaster on a scientific mountain expedition; historic adventures beneath the ocean with CGI; childrens; daytime formats; and playful & dramatic natural history (ob doc, talent-led and blue chip, including a penguin series exec produced by James Cameron). I can shoot, use avid and am at my happiest collaborating & scripting. I revel in storytelling & writing in the edit -making viewers laugh and cry - as well as problem-solving and leading & managing creative teams. I use avid proficiently to find & build stories & sequences. I reliably deliver on schedule and budget.
