I’m currently freelancing as a journalist/reporter/assistant producer for a number of companies across the North of England. I’ve freelanced for four years now, three of which were alongside my broadcast journalism degree at the University of Salford’s Media City Campus, and up until December, I did this as well as a full-time job with an equipment rental company. I’ve now decided to work purely in journalism, after learning some technical skills in kit rental, as that’s what I’m most passionate about. I also have a passion for sport, and whilst I thoroughly enjoy my freelance work, my aim is to work in sports journalism full time.
