I was a writer, director, editor and producer for Fred Rogers Productions. I wrote, produced, directed and edited all the live action interstitial pieces for ​Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood​ on PBS Kids, the #1 show for preschoolers in the US. In this role, I directed children and non-actors, as well as managed the crew: camera, audio and other crew members as needed. I was present on every episode of the show and was integral to the success of the program. I also created a number of projects that were considered for production, including an innovative 6-part fairy-tale mini-series for pre-teens and an anatomy series for pre-schoolers in partnership with The Jim Henson Company (Oh, I also was part of the team that earned Fred Rogers Productions a Peabody Award).In a previous life, I worked as a creator, producer and digital content manager for a company called NextNewNetworks, which was absorbed by YouTube in 2011. I managed ad campaigns and superdistribution, developed new shows and managed social media (mostly Twitter, Facebook and YouTube) for the cartoon series ​Channel Frederator.​ I was also a co-creator, co-producer and editor for a show under the Channel Frederator umbrella called ​Cartoon Hangover​ (it has since been updated).As a post-production supervisor and executive producer at Rocketboom, for about a year and a half, I managed a roster of editors and directors for pieces that we distributed across many platforms including iTunes and YouTube, and even worked on the PBS Digital series ​The Parent Show​ with Angela Santomero.I’ve spent most of my career in the digital space and I'm very familiar with digital outreach, content, podcasting (both video and audio). I’ve learned about audience development from a data standpoint - sort of a Moneyball approach to getting viewers - and about spotting trends in content. I am very qualified to build an audience utilizing data, social media and other forms of web outreach.All in all, I’ve held every position from production assistant to executive producer. Most recently, it’s been as a director, producer and editor and I am 100% comfortable slipping in and out of roles as necessary.
