Hi! I'm a graduate looking for part-time or full-time opportunities and open to freelance work. After completing a degree in Film and Television Production at York St. John University I knew I wanted to pursue a career in production, I just wasn't sure where I fit in within that huge spectrum. I understand the way the industry works and am not afraid of having to prove myself. I am keen to hear about Runner opportunities as well as Assistant Editor or similar roles. I am also interested in pre-production areas like Location Scouting and Talent Casting.As editor of all the productions I was part of at university, I garnered a lot of experience working with software like Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects. I wanted to push myself as far as possible in terms of what I could achieve and felt these productions were the perfect opportunity. I try to find as much freelance work as possible and will edit in my spare time at home whenever there is footage available, using my GoPro Hero Session to capture video when travelling etc.I'm usually found at the cinema, in particular Hyde Park Picture House in Leeds, the only remaining gas-lit cinema in the UK. When I'm not catching up on the best independent and mainstream films, I'm bombarding my laptop with articles from Screen Rant, Cinema Blend etc. and even writing posts for my personal film, television and gaming blog.
