I bring warmth, attention to detail & exceptional storytelling to all projects, from returnable series to single documentaries, international co-productions to boxsets.
With a keen editorial eye, I have a proven track record in originating and developing projects through to commission, and leading teams through production and final delivery.
As a development executive, I work alongside creative directors to build relationships, develop ideas and win commissions for some of the UK’s most reputable factual indies, including Dragonfly, True North Productions, DSP and Candour. I also enjoy working with fledging indies and understand the challenges, having co-founded one myself albeit many moons ago!
I have an exemplary reputation for negotiating difficult, international access and working with new and diverse talent, both on and off screen. In production, my storytelling involves using sensitive access as the entry point for audiences into a complex wider subject, often using drama reconstruction and archive. This includes recent funded development with a British rock band; working with international organisations, such as Washington DC’s National Zoo, the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and Crossrail; and with individuals during the most difficult and sensitive times, including children and minority groups.
Recent projects include the ‘Stalking Samantha’ box set (3x60, ABC News for Disney Hulu 2025) and the single documentary ‘The Miracle Panda’ with actress Lucy Liu (Paramount/Chinese CICC TV, 2022). Other credits include developing & producing returnable formats such as Britain’s Most Luxurious Train Journeys (Channel 4, 2023) and Bloody Tales (National Geographic, 2012-2014). I am currently exec producing at Dragonfly on a premium, 2 part box set I co-developed on Idi Amin’s expulsion of Asians in 1972 (2x60 for the BBC).
