Ruth is a talented and experienced PD whose creative and collaborative approach to her job makes her a pleasure to work with. Delivering a weekly show with consistently high production values such as Gardeners' World, requires the PDs on the VT team to combine creativity with strong organisational skills. Ruth has both. She is adept at juggling complex schedules and equally at home in the edit as filming on location. She has strong editorial skills and understands all the essential elements which go into making a GW film have stand out. One of Ruth's strengths is that she is experienced at managing a whole range of talent, from high profile presenters to nurturing contributors who maybe new to the television process.

Ruth is an exceptional PD. She is creative, she writes well and is a very strong edit producer. I've known Ruth for a number of years in this role and would always choose to have her on my team. She works well with others, is a great mentor and always has a sense of humour. Ruth enjoys taking stories through the production process from start to finish and can be relied on to always give her absolute best. She works very hard and that shows in the quality of her work.
