Rob is a tremendous asset to any team, the kind of person you might describe as "a safe pair of hands". His people skills are excellent, he is a great researcher and fact-checker and - for the projects we tackled together - he proved himself adept at identifying, auditoning and casting contributors. This included a degree of forensic research in identifying obscure people who were very difficult to trace, which impressed me very much. We worked on two projects: a BBC4 archive special in 2018, then a Curiosity Stream/Nat Geo series in 2021-2 which combined specialist factual, comedy and archive. I have no hesitation in recommending Rob and hope I will have the pleasure of working with him again soon. Simon Harries, freelance factual SP.
