I’m an award-winning, journalistically-minded documentary director and cameraperson. I recently directed a feature documentary, Phantom Parrot, which premiered at CPH:DOX and Sheffield Doc/Fest in 2023 and was theatrically released at cinemas across the U.K. before being acquired by Tribeca Films / Giant Pictures in North America. Short films I have directed include The Family Statement (2022) for Field of Vision and the Grierson award nominated Mother (BFI London Film Festival 2020). My films have been supported by the BFI Doc/Society Features Fund, Catapult Film Fund, Lush Film Fund, The Fund for Investigative Journalism and Tribeca Film Institute, and I am a recipient of the Logan Nonfiction Fellowship (2020). I graduated from the NFTS M.A. in Directing Documentary, where my graduation film, Fake News Fairytale, won a Grierson award and an RTS Award for Best Student Documentary, and was nominated for RTS awards for Writing and Cinematography.
