I had the pleasure of working with Silas for over two years on our blue chip, natural history series for Netflix, and I couldn't recommend him more highly. Silas brought not only technical skills, solid camera work, and attention to detail but also an ability to identify, develop, and bring to life unique, emotional stories for a TV audience.
In an environment that required constant adaptability—whether it was coordinating logistics in remote locations, managing the needs of our camera crew, or securing the best footage under challenging conditions (like ankle-deep in a pond of giant, electric eels) — Silas was always calm, reliable, and resourceful.
