A determined and ambitious documentary researcher, gravitating towards powerful and original character-led narratives. i am an ideas generator and a self shooter, which has given me a creative approach. i combine my curiosity for knowledge with my visual sense to produce innovative engaging content. I am inspired by documentaries focused on current affairs and themes promoting human and animal welfare through personal perspectives. I've worked on issues ranging from LGBT rights to education for special needs. I am experienced in gaining trust and access with characters from different demographics all over the world. Negotiating the line between sensitive contributors and completing production intentions. One of my most recent projects has been working with a nomadic community from the Bajau tribe, Indonesia, recording and celebrating the communitie’s top free diving techniques. They are a group that has been marginalized in Sulawesi, mytholigised and outcast, they rely fully on the water as a life source.
