Matt is a two time Emmy-nominated filmmaker based in London, known for his powerful, character-driven documentaries. His films have won awards, screened at over 50 major festivals, and reached millions of viewers worldwide. His feature documentary Over the Wall and Netflix short Little Miss Sumo have been used globally as educational tools and cited in legislative discussions.

In 2022, his Hulu film To Live and Die in Alabama earned him a Documentary Emmy nomination. His feature TLC Forever aired to millions on A&E and is now streaming on Netflix. Matt then spent two years filming closely with Lewis Hamilton for an upcoming Apple Original feature, due for release summer 2026.
