I am a Series Director/Director and Shooting PD with 25 years broadcast television experience. My trademarks are the high end look to my visuals (having been a Lighting Cameraman for 10 years in my early career) and my strong sense of a story. I recognise good characters and I enjoy working with people to get the best out of them on camera. I want to engage the audience and deliver distinctive and ambitious television. I have worked with many high profile and sensitive access contributors. Most recently I have worked across many different genres of television from factual to entertainment. I have Produced and Directed 'ILL Gotten Gains' for BBC 1/Dsp Endemol, 'Irish Pickers' for A & E Networks/Curve Media, 'Stop Search Seize' for Sky One, Directed 'Heartbreak Hotel' and 'Gogglebox' for Virgin Media One and most recently worked as a Shooting Producer Director on George Clarkes Amazing Spaces, Plum pictures for Channel 4.
