I have worked in London as a Camera Operator and Editor for a small sport production company called Sharp Focus. My role was holistic, with duties/responsibilities including working with clients from the pre-production stages of their project; to working as part of a small crew on various fast-paced, high-pressure sports shoots; and then editing the footage shot to create a programme suited to the clients’ needs. The clients I have worked with include UK Sport, International Cricket Council, England and Wales Cricket Board, GB Hockey, England Netball and British Tennis. I have also worked in Dubai and Sri Lanka for the ICC, shooting and editing both the Desert T20 and Women’s World Cup Qualifiers for digital content delivery.I have recently been working for DAZN as an Assistant Producer as part of the UK Fight Sports Team for the DAZN streaming platform. Working as part of a small team, I have worked week to week to deliver various types of fight sport content, from social media pieces, to longer form features for use on the platform or during a live show. I have been on several shoots with high profile fighters, from both the world of boxing and MMA, and had the opportunity to interview them with a view to creating original content. I have experience of working in a gallery environment, having worked as an AP on several large boxing events and have produced smaller boxing shows for Matchroom Boxing and Golden Boy Promotions. I have carried out quality control checks on the work of various editors within the production team and also assisted in logging and archiving fight footage and liasing with team members in the USA to ensure all content is of the highest standard.I believe that I am at the right stage in my development to move forward and give myself a fresh challenge. I am willing to learn and adapt quickly to new surroundings and a new area of filmmaking, having only covered sports it would be incredibly exciting to be able to create content for various genres and subjects.
