I'm a switched on, highly motivated, and experienced Researcher primarily working across Natual History and Science genres. I’ve proven myself as a tenacious story finder, thorough fact checker, creative story developer and persistent archive researcher. An academic background in Biology and Anthropology combined with five years' experience as a Researcher means I have the ability to interpret complex scientific information, whilst drawing upon a variety of research materials, to create an entertaining sequence that fits into a wider episode and series narrative.

As Researcher for the 'Frozen' episode of The Americas (NBCU), I planned and worked on expedition shoots in remote areas of Alaska, and in sub-zero temperatures of Canada. Two years working across various episodes in the series meant setting up multiple shoots, finding stories and suitable filming locations in far-flung areas of The Americas.

I’ve worked on location with on-screen talent and contributors, providing editorial briefings and proving myself as a key editorial figure on a variety of shoots. I have a years' Development experience, working on projects across a multitude of genres, primarily Natural History, Travel and Adventure / Expedition, for a variety of commissioners - most notably, I found, researched and developed stories for 'Unknown Amazon with Pedro Andrade' for VICE.
