My love of acting on screen was inspired when, in September 2017, I was selected by the British Film Institute (BFI) as the lead actor in their Regional Film Academy short film ’Champagne Dancing’. The subsequent year, I successfully auditioned for the National Youth Film Academy (NYFA) and I have appeared in four of the NYFA’s films, as well as working in conjunction with various NYFA members on outside projects. Both ‘Slip Up' and 'Jester’ have won numerous awards at international film festivals and ‘Jester’ is available to view on Amazon Prime. Since then I have appeared in many short films including ‘Last Tuesday Around Four’, ‘The 7 Signs’ and ‘Alone’, for which I was awarded The Best Actor Award at The Best Actor Awards in New York in July 2021. I am currently filming two feature films, which are due for release late 2022, and rehearsing Twelfth Night with the Birmingham Rep Theatre’s 18-25 company and a special performance piece with the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain.Last year I recorded a voice part for the short film ‘Good Grief’ starring Vicky McClure. I was the Narrator in the short film ‘Alone’ and I took part in the R&D of the National Youth Theatre’s production of ‘Silent Statues’, produced in association with Tik Tok. I have also performed at The National Theatre in their production of ‘Space 2 Create’, played Vicky in the world premiere of ‘A Teenage Opera’, directed by Julie Atherton, and been Pea Gibbons, in Jez Butterworth’s play ‘Jerusalem’.In 2019, I became a member of Equity and in 2020 I was selected by Equity to take part in their Pathways scheme, a creative residency for emerging artists under 30. When not acting I spend any spare time either writing films, music or producing. My first screen play was produced by the BFI as part of their screenwriting academy and my second screenplay ‘Please Don’t Touch’ placed second in the Best Script category at the ‘Out of The Can Film Festival’ and third at the E&U European Short Film Festival, with a 100% selection rate. I have several Producing credits including ‘Homeless Ashes’, ‘Officer Down’ (Associate producer), ‘Our Shot’ and ‘Alone’. All four films have won numerous laurels, at international film festivals, and I was awarded Best Producer for ‘Alone’ in August 2021.My professional qualifications and training include the Foundation at The Oxford School of Drama, PCertLAM in Acting (Distinction), DipLCM Music Theatre (Distinction) and level 1 ECSPC Screen combat. I shall be starting a BA in Professional Acting at The Drama Studio London in October 2022. Read Less
