I have always been passionate about the television industry and initially wanted to be an actor, but after several disastrous roles in school plays, I decided to pursue a career behind the camera. I spent July and August this year on an internship with an Australian production company in Melbourne and I loved every second of it. I learnt how the filming process worked, edited videos using the Adobe suite and also wrote scripts and shot lists. As part of a large team, I contributed at client meetings and gained a lot of confidence in communication, which I see as a vital part of working in this industry. Now that I'm back home, my goal is to start my career in broadcasting, ideally as a runner or researcher. Read Less
