As a producer/director, I’m happy running shoots, planning logistics and scripting. I’ve worked around the world, co-ordinating international shoots with local and foreign crews. I’ve taken Jamie Durie to Thailand, shot and produced Australia's Grand Designs, hobbled down the side of a mountain in the Canary Islands with two twisted knees and kept shooting, as well as a multitude of more comfortable but no less challenging other shoots. Scripting in advance or on the fly, I love finding the heart of a story and creating compelling, entertaining programming – whether it’s a short piece in a larger programme or a series length arc. I have nearly twenty years’ experience in broadcast television and online content creation; producing, directing, editing and shooting. My experience stretches across all genres and delivery platforms; documentary, branded content, scripted reality, sport, cookery and more. My long history as an editor means I have a strong sense of what is needed to form dramatic, captivating and meaningful stories whilst entertaining and informing and makes for efficient and targeted shooting on the ground. As an experienced camera operator and stills photographer I know what makes strong, dynamic and interesting images. I’m used to dealing with a wide variety of talent, from prime-time hosts and journalists to first timers; working sensitively and adapting where necessary; coaxing heartfelt performances from nervous newcomers and managing the demands of the stars (No naming names here, thank you!). My documentary photography has been featured by music magazines Artrocker and The 405 and my product photography has been used by companies such as Colorbond, Channel Nine, Hale Mercantile and more.
