A very dedicated, ambitious, hardworking individual, with a wide range of personal and professional skills.

These include an imaginative, creative approach to work, maintaining very high professional standards, enthusiasm for challenges and problem solving, good sense of humour and proven excellent team leadership qualities. I have always led by example and like to prove myself through a positive and pro-active work ethic. I maintain very high professional standards and am extremely motivated to achieve the best output possible.

In my various technical roles I have enjoyed contributing to the planning/piloting/launching and re-branding of programs by helping transform creative ideas into practical reality. I pride myself on an excellent ability to communicate with a broad range of people at all levels, forming many culturally diverse working relationships throughout the BBC and beyond.

I enjoy the responsibility of regularly undertaking technical adjustment/fault finding on studio/gallery equipment to ensure that facilities are fully operational and used efficiently at all times. I am also a trainer/mentor to new or inexperienced staff members (most recently for BBC Africa in Nairobi); this often involves the completion of training records and written reports for management.

I am very aware of the Health and Safety at Work Act and am fully BBC trained in this. I also have a full clean UK driving license.

One of my main passions is the arts, particularly in the areas of filmmaking, photography, music and contemporary art, furthered by my time studying art at university. I regularly visit galleries, attend comedy performances and live music gigs. I also thoroughly enjoy travelling and experiencing different cultures worldwide.
