I came into the industry as a second career in 2011. I have gone from carefully balancing trays of tea as I navigate seemingly never ending stairs as a runner, to working on BAFTA nominated short film SLAP whilst studying at NFTS, then learning the ropes from several, very generous, senior editors whilst an assembly/ junior editor, and gaining experience as an Editor in my own right, winning a BAFTA for editing, and an Emmy nomination for editing, as part of a great team on 9/11: Inside The Presidents War Room.

I am passionate about storytelling and I have a strong eye for structure. I have experience in broadcast, including Documentary, Obs Doc, Fact Ent, and Factual.  I also have experience of scripted through working on short films, most notably SLAP (Duration 25 min).

I am used to working with large volumes of rushes, and I have gained a large amount of experience quickly, including setting up and organising projects on location during shooting, in the edit cutting, as well as jumping in at the end of an edit and very quickly becoming familiar with the material, navigating projects and finding solutions to any issues.
