Liaising with labs in London and Toronto to gather cost for QCs, fixes and specific spec requirements, relaying this information back to the Head of Operations for sign off and sending purchase orders. Gathering and recording the receipt of materials from producers, making these available for the use of the Marketing team and Toronto Operations team. Overseeing the delivery of festival materials, organizing the creation of KDMs, DCPs shipments. Keeping materials up to date on our extranet for clients to download as well as uploading materials to client’s portals and FTP sites. Advising contracts and sales departments on material availability, keeping them up to date with delivery timelines and investigating technical queries. Following up with clients to gather subtitle materials and establish availability of international materials. Assisting accounts and collections, raising material invoices and chasing payments.Skills Developed: Communication - liaising with distributors, producers, labs and a range of departments in house, in person, via email and over the phone, often relaying technical information with the knowledge that this is not everyone’s specialty. Adaptability - reacting to constantly changing scenarios ensuring the most up-to-date information is available to all parties. Problem solving solutions to changes in delivery dates and material availability. Enthusiasm - engaging with the companies catalogue, getting excited about the content we are delivering and connecting with distributors and producers on this level. IT Skills - Proficient in MS Office, Google Suite and Outlook. Confident using FTP servers, managing license breaches on YouTube and handling Vimeo content. Happy setting up meetings and diary entries. Customer Service - Maintaining and developing relationships with distributors, producers and labs, ensuring ongoing support is provided.
