I freelance for the likes of Buzz 16 Productions / Sky Sports / IMG / Gravity Media / Talksport and the BBC specialising in both long-form documentary content production and in evenings and weekends football voiceover and commentary.

In the last two years I have led production teams to create 64 podcasts for BT Sport, a daily World Cup show for BetMGM and a 4-part World Cup documentary series for beIN Sport. My key skills include:

·       Editorial leadership, working with new ideas to develop strong storylines while building relationships with talent and guests (including managing production and talent budgets).

·       Managing small production teams, upskilling them in both video and audio editing (I work on Adobe Premiere Pro, Audition, Audacity, Avid, Cloud UX and Quantel).

·       Working as an Assistant Producer to support senior production staff in the effective delivery of client based projects, with the ability to switch to a variety of roles to help the team.

·       Directing shoots for linear, online and social content, post-production including rough cut editing where required.

·       Writing and scripting cues, questions and researching on guests - carrying out interviews if required or voicing from my home studio setup.

Having qualified as a Broadcast Journalist I have strong editorial judgement, a passion for making creative content whatever the platform and a proven track record of originating stories and building relations with clients, working for some of the biggest UK National broadcasters – including a commission for my own documentary pitched to Sky Sports in 2016.

I used my time during the pandemic to upskill via courses provided by Screen Skills to get a more rounded view of the industry, while I also used this period to volunteer for the Film and TV Charity. I love working with new people and have great relationships with all freelance employers.

In 2023 I began public speaking on behalf of the Hummingbird Centre who provide cancer support and therapy and helped me following a close family bereavement to raise awareness of mens mental health, in particular PTSD – something I take great pride in sharing. Read Less
