Melanie is a brilliant all round producer / edit producer, and the sort of person you would always want on your team. She's a hugely experienced and diligent journalist and capable of handling complex stories and subject matters. She's very good at managing teams and juggling different levels of experience to hit deadlines. She's very creative and can put a unique twist on sometimes dry subject matter to lift stories to the next level, and can transform stories in the edit. She writes strong scripts, and provides a nice lightness of touch meaning she's capable of working across current affairs, consumer, factual and fact ents.
