I'm a passionate Gaffer / DoP. I strive for the best look on every project by selecting the most suitable equipment for the job. With a strong technical knowledge, creative flair and a good eye for detail, I get the vision from the brief to the audience. I have done work for World Health Organisation, Cisco, LinkedIn, Times Magazine, Disney, Jaeger, Cisco, LinkedIn, Monster Energy, San Miguel and YBS to mention a few. I mostly shoot documentaries, promotional films and music videos. Once I worked for a studio, initially as a spark and worked my way quickly up to the gaffer position so I know a great deal about lighting, from single person interviews to big shoots with loads of extras. Prior to that I studied filmmaking at the Icelandic Film School where I specialised in cinematography. I have a good knowledge of filming, lighting, ENG and digital cinema cameras, handheld, stabilised rigs and much more. I'm efficient, organised, patient, reliable but also equipped with a sense of humour. I was born in Poland but moved to Iceland very young and lived there most of my life. After bouncing between my favourite departments; camera, lights and grip for several years in the land of fire and ice I found my passion behind the camera but also realised that the industry back home was simply not big enough so I moved to London in 2012. I am used to pressure, directing talents and traveling internationally for shoots. I have my own vehicle, full and clean driving license, kit insurance and a public liability insurance.
