DEVELOPMENT /CASTING/WELFARE/STORY PRODUCER  I have over 20 years' experience working in TV, during which time I have performed successfully in various roles. My most recent was on CH5's Hoarders which I cast. I also acted as welfare producer to the hoarders we featured in the programme. Previous to this series, I cast and edited two one hour shows for Channel 5 about the feeder community in the USA . Both of these projects broadened my experience in relating to vulnerable individuals. In addition, they enhanced my ability to build relationships with contributors who may have potentially sensitive personal stories and issues. During production of these series I excelled at duty of care and gained the trust of the contributors by sensitively guiding and empowering them to understand the ramifications of appearing on screen. In the process of this I acquired a thorough working knowledge of GDPR and compliance regulations. As a Development Producer with a proven record in devising and winning commissions, I pride myself on: Over 30 credits of original commissions to my name of prime-time shows which made a splash, from Hot Tub Britain to I Married the Waiter. A track record of securing high-end talent, from Trevor McDonald, to the celebrity cast of BBC's Pilgrimage. An understanding of how to bring great TV from page to screen, shows include: Quest TV's Born Mucky, a docu-soap that followed the trials and tribulations of young farmers; ITV's Strictly Kosher, a fly on the wall series about the Jewish community in Manchester; ITV's Being Gazza, a profile of soccer star Paul Gasgoine. I have a  understanding of each TV channel's unique personality and a talent for spotting emerging trends.  I have a passion for current affairs and emerging trends.
