As a versatile Gwynedd-based freelance producer I have a wealth of experience in producing light entertainment formats, studio-based productions, sports coverage, factual ent and documentaries in both Welsh and English, within development and broadcast. I have been employed as a producer/director, casting AP, edit producer, gallery AP or script writer on a wide range of TV productions for nearly 20 years as well as working in numerous roles for broadcast radio and web content. Having produced for many long-running and returning magazine series during my 11 years at Antena, I appreciate what is needed to tell attention grabbing stories within shorter inserts as well as feature lengths. I have also produced and/or directed various strands on location in several European countries, including Spain, Sweden and Slovenia (and others not necessarily beginning with the letter 'S'). Through my research background I am experienced at finding locations and contributors independently and in developing exciting new talent for various genres. I work efficiently under pressure and enjoy seeing projects through to the end product, having frequently supervised voice-over sessions and online edits. My documentary for BBC Radio Cymru marked 50 years since the beginning of Northern Ireland's troubles and focused on Welsh military involvement and the contradictions of British-Celtic identity.
