Hello, My name is Jesus Gomez, I just moved back to Bath after finishing my MA on Sound Effects for Films and TV at Bournemouth University (Award of Merit). Now I’m looking for any kind of opportunity, practices or collaboration in sound post-production (sound effects, Foley recordings, mixing, working with Pro Tools systems) or location recordings. I’ve been living more than 4 years here in England but I also have previous experience as a sound engineer in live events and as a boom operator in Spain. Last year, I had the chance to be involved more deeply into sound post-production and have the chance to be more creative as a sound designer. Working with Pro Tools at the studios, recording at the Foley room or working with colleagues, as a boom operator in different short films, was a unique and great personal experience. Personally, I consider myself a very easy going person who likes to work as a part of a team but also on my own. Very critic with my work and alsways looking to learn from my colleagues experience. My two passions has always been music and films. As a sound designer I found the perfect combination of these elements and all the creative process from pre to post-production keeps me focused and motivated all the time.
