Hi there. I'm an ambitious freelance Factual Producer and Development Producer with strong editorial skills and a love for great TV! I'm currently looking to step into freelance roles at exciting companies after working as a Staff Producer / Development Producer for almost a decade.
In Development, I'm a super-creative ideas person. I love to originate all sorts of content, from premium documentaries, to high-concept reality formats, noisy current affairs, returnable lifestyle shows and digital-first shows. Brainstorms are my happy place: strength-testing ideas; working out shape, structure and purpose; and thinking of how concepts can be matched authentically with brilliant talent. I have a wealth of pitching experience with all major UK broadcasters across a range of genre departments. Writing and delivering bold and stylish treatments is also one of my favourite parts of the job. I like to lead and motivate teams, and help carry ideas from initial spark to commission.
In Production, I've had invaluable experience on a range of shows: from a 'red flag' current affairs programme; to a formatted lifestyle series; a high-volume blue-light Daytime show; a character-led premium documentary - and more. My experience has spanned handling sensitive compliance issues, securing tough access, managing vulnerable contributors, casting for entertainment and for serious subjects, and shaping story on-location and in the edit.
My credits have won or been nominated for BAFTA, BAFTA Cymru, Grierson, RTS, Prix Europa, Asian Media Award and more.
In 2025, I delivered a £50,000 R&D Project for Media Cymru about how to innovate the television development process; and across 2025/26, I was part of the Factual Fast Track talent scheme for future industry leaders.
