I am a dedicated, confident and creative Producer with 15 years' experience working in broadcast television. Experienced Casting, Story and Edit Producer with credits across a range of genres including current affairs, documentary, factual entertainment, reality and daytime TV. NCTJ qualified with MA Journalism, specialising in mental health and the media.

I pride myself on identifying great characters with strong human interest stories, and presenting them in visually imaginative, inclusive and accessible ways. Proficient in cutting casting tapes and looking after casting teams, often under pressure and with quick turnaround deadlines.

I am quick to build and maintain strong and trusting relationships with contributors from the first casting call through to TX, ensuring that they feel comfortable, supported and informed throughout the whole process. I am adept at writing concise notes for psychologists and liaising with them, always keep organised and thorough contact notes and duty of care logs, and am confident, thoughtful and sensitive when dealing with problems or raising issues where appropriate. I have worked for all the major UK broadcasters, including prime time BBC One, BBC Two, Channel 4 and Channel 5, as well as MTV & Discovery and have a wealth of experience in setting up shoots both in the UK and abroad and have also produced talent and contributors remotely using Zoom and UGC.

I've recently started spending more time in the edit and really enjoy working closely with editors to craft stories packed with warmth and humour. I believe that the lessons learnt in the edit are integral to other areas of my work and so I hope to continue my learning curve by spending more time in the edit, while continuing to build on my experience in casting, story and welfare.
