My 2022 BBC documentary 'Under Poisoned Skies', which uncovered the devastating impact of toxic oil pollution in Iraq won multiple major awards including RTS, Rory Peck, AIB, DIG, British Journalism, One World Media, and FPA awards. It has also formed the basis for the first ever legal action against BP over its gas flaring practices.

In 2021, I was nominated for a BAFTA in the Emerging Talent (Factual) category. My 2020 film 'The Schools That Chain Boys' (BBC Arabic) won both an RTS and an Amnesty International Award, in addition to being nominated for a Peabody and highly commended for a Grierson award. Read Less
