Richard O’Regan is a journalist and writer. He has earned a reputation for writing, directing and producing award-winning and highly-rated documentaries and nonfiction drama series. His work has been featured on nearly every major broadcaster in the US and Canada. In 2020, he was the head writer of the Amazon Studios documentary series Falling for a Killer as well as writing and producing the podcast series Cutthroat, Inc. for ABC News. In both Canada and the US, he has produced, directed and written some of television’s most popular non-fiction programs and series — including Trauma: Life in the ER, World Birth Day, The First 48, Hopkins 24/7, Intervention and Nothing Personal.
