Rachel-Anne Clarke is an RTS-nominated comedy producer and trained script consultant with experience across scripted, consumer, science, and entertainment TV. She began her television career on the Channel 4 Production Training Scheme and has worked on programmes including Supershoppers, The One Show, Horizon, and Morning Live. She later moved into scripted comedy at BBC Studios, where she produced Short Stuff, BBC Scotland’s digital comedy strand that acts as a development pipeline for new talent. While there, she produced the channel’s first all-female comedy pilot, Who Runs The World?!. She has worked as Assistant Producer on Two Doors Down and Mrs Brown’s Boys, including a special live episode.

In 2021, Rachel-Anne was selected as one of Edinburgh TV Festival’s Ones To Watch, and later took part in the BBC Elevate scheme. She went on to establish the independent production company Pure Leo, which champions diverse comedic voices in Scotland. In its first year, Pure Leo received investment through the BBC Small Indie Fund.

As a script consultant, Rachel-Anne has delivered consultancy on numerous comedy projects, most recently Here Comes The Nun, which won Best Writing at the 48 Hour Film Festival, the Grand Prize at Filmapalooza, and was screened at the Cannes Film Festival. In 2024, she participated in Solace Script Circle via Screen Scotland, a series of consultancy workshops led by Franz Rodenkirchen and Françoise von Roy. In addition, she has undertaken the John Yorke Story for Script Development course.
