Shooting Producer Director specializing in factual and documentary work. Most recently I completed 6 months filming in Colorado for Animal Planet on its most popular show; Dr. Jeff, Rocky Mountain Vet. As a Shooting PD I was solely responsible for planning, filming, and delivering over 50 shoots. At the beginning of 2017 I completed a self made documentary about North Korea. After securing access with unique privileges, I spent a week filming in one of the most isolated countries on earth. The film was picked up by Al Jazeera and National Geographic, where it now has over 3.5 million views, as well as winning an award for best short documentary. Other recent work includes coordinating and shooting an AirBnB commercial for delivery in Australia, and various content for Discovery Channel Canada. My breadth of experience across genres enables me to make better decisions in all areas of my filmmaking. After going to film school (BA Hons), I worked as a camera assistant on feature films and TV drama's where I learnt to think on my feet and develop strong technical and creative skills. I am equally as comfortable working with a team or left to my own resources. I understand the need for good communication and having true empathy with the contributor and subject matter, whatever the conditions.
