Beginning as an award-winning newspaper journalist, I soon moved into TV Features & Factual and worked on programmes for ITV Tyne Tees, Yorkshire Television, ITV1 and Channel 4, over a wide variety of genres, encompassing almost every non-technical production role there is, and picking up a few more awards. For part of this time I was an Edit Producer, which is mainly what I do now. Royal Television Society judges have described my work as "visually compelling" and "sharply written". I've produced lots of entertaining, informative and creative productions, all of them delivered on time, on budget, and winning good audience share, and am good at getting the best from interviewees.
