I’m a Director and Animator with twelve years’ industry experience. I consider myself a hands-on all rounder, having directed live action and animation as well as working as a motion designer and developing my skills as a scriptwriter. I’m adept at working with clients to define production briefs through concept to development. I thrive in the pre-production process - creating treatments, style frames, storyboards and animatics - and leading projects through production to post, whilst collaborating with internal and external teams.My true passion is words and I have been keenly developing my script writing for the last six years, taking every opportunity to stretch my creative muscles. Having done the Script To Screen course at the NFTS two years ago, I focused on honing my skills writing two pilots and two films. My first feature script, Vargulf, made it through to Screencraft’s quarter-finals - and a Vargulf short I wrote/directed was shown at FrightFest film festival. Recently, my spec script BLEAKLOW was in the semi-finals of Final Draft’s 2018 Big Break competition.Always keen to expand my skillset, I trained at Escape Studios on the Maya Comprehensive VFX course and completed NFTS’s Script to Screen, MET FILMS’ Cinematography course and SohoEditors’ Cinema4D training.
