I am a confident and reliable shooter with a background in observational documentary, factual entertainment and features. I began my career in the camera department at RDF where amongst my other duties I filmed and edited tasters for development. By both going on shoots and seeing them right through to the edit, I learned how to tell a story and the elements that are needed in the edit to do so effectively. I went on to become an in-house DV Director where I worked on many different productions including the Pilot of Secret Life of 4 Year Olds which went on to win multiple awards.I have also worked for the host broadcaster as a camera operator at three Olympic games starting with London then going on to Sochi and Rio. Working as part of a small team with a journalist and an assistant in an extremely fast paced news environment, we devised and produced VT packages about the games and the people that make them so special. I am a good team player and have an easy to get on with demeanour, which really helps in building and maintaining relationships with contributors and colleagues alike. I feel that my technical background, ability to shoot and edit confidently and to tell a story makes me a really strong all rounder and a useful team member on any production. Read Less
