I am a freelance Producer/ Director with experience in making a range of factual programmes; showreel available on Talent Manager with further clips available on request.I have produced and directed on the popular BBC health strand “Trust Me I’m a Doctor” (BBC Two), history documentaries such as “Planet Oil” (BBC Two) and “James Clerk Maxwell: The Man Who Changed the World”, science documentaries such as “Hands & Feet” (BBC Four), and the consumer series “Supershoppers” (Channel Four). I've also self-shot series such as "Laid Bare" (BBC One Scotland).I’ve worked on blue chip specialist factual series and CGI rich programmes, popular health and consumer series, property programmes, and challenging BBC Four documentaries. I have experience of setting up and/ or filming in extreme locations – North Sea oilrigs, rarely visited caves deep in the Vietnamese jungle, and active volcanoes. I have also secured access to difficult locations including Norwegian nuclear power stations and Azerbaijan oilfields and rigs.I am used to writing scripts and directing on location and in the edit, have directed drone aerial photography and helicopter shoots, commissioned graphics, and am a capable self-shooter.
